Nature, which gives us not only the underground resources and the provisions but also provides the basis of our lives. Flora and fauna, the clean air and pure scenery offers a feeling of peace.
The rich natural scenic sites are designated as natural parks, and are categorized as national parks. It provides your comfort, learning, and the place to contact with. These sites are passed on to the future as “The trust from offspring”.
Popular natural parks are equipped with facilities for their large number of visitors to have contact with nature. On the other hand, it entails a lot of costs to maintain and clean the public facilities, such as toilets and walking paths. The parking fees are used as the support fees for the beautification and maintenance projects of the natural park.
The Natural Parks Foundation was established in 1979 and has 20 local offices in National Parks and Quasi-National Parks. The Foundation maintains and manages the park facilities, such as visitor centers, public toilets, beautification activities, natural environment conservation activities, such as vegetation restoration, and contact-with-nature activities (nature experience and observation projects). It is actively address to be the park beautiful, clean natural environment and comfortable for visitors.
